Rula Aoun

Rula Aoun is a skilled attorney at Cochran, Kroll & Associates, where she has been practicing since 2017. Rula earned a B.A. in International Affairs from the University of Michigan-Dearborn in 2010. She then pursued her J.D. from Wayne State University Law School in 2014. Her academic background helped her develop a deep understanding of both national and international legal matters.

Before joining Cochran, Kroll & Associates P.C., Rula served as in-house counsel for a multinational company. She later practiced in multiple legal areas, including immigration, intellectual property, business law, and civil litigation at a metro Detroit law firm. Rula’s legal career also includes serving as Legal Director for the Arab-American Civil Rights League, providing pro bono services, and representing individuals in civil rights cases. Additionally, she interned at the Wayne County Third Circuit Court and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan during law school. She also worked with a refugee shelter, assisting clients with asylum applications.

Rula Aoun is admitted to practice in Michigan Circuit Courts, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern and Western Districts of Michigan, and the U.S. District Court for Nebraska. She is an active member of the Michigan Association for Justice and the State Bar of Michigan. Fluent in Arabic and proficient in French, she effectively serves a diverse client base.
