About
Roy S. Ginsburg is a lawyer coach, consultant, law firm appraiser, and law firm broker with more than 40 years of legal practice experience. His background includes work in law firms of different sizes and in-house counsel roles. Over the past two decades, he has focused on helping solo practitioners and small-firm owners with succession planning, law firm sales, practice valuation, estate planning, family, immigration, and injury, and transition strategies for their professional futures at Roy Ginsburg, J.D.
Roy earned his J.D. from the University of Wisconsin Law School in Madison, where he served as an editor on the Law Review. His work now helps attorneys evaluate exit options, identify successors, value law practices, broker sales, downsize, or wind down responsibly. He has worked with firms of different sizes, rural and metropolitan, across many practice areas from Alaska to Florida, helping more than a hundred attorneys capture and maximize practice value.
Roy S. Ginsburg is also a frequent speaker, blogger, and CLE presenter on law firm sales, succession planning, practice management, and lawyer transitions.
