Ronald L. Marek

Ronald L. Marek grew up on a century farm in southeast Iowa, where early responsibility and community values shaped his path toward the legal profession. His upbringing encouraged leadership and service, qualities he carried into later academic and professional roles while developing a commitment to helping individuals plan for important legal decisions.

Ronald pursued higher education at Iowa State University, earning a BS in agricultural business. He later attended the University of Minnesota Law School, where he earned his Juris Doctor, laying the legal foundation that prepared him for a career focused on thoughtful guidance and practical legal solutions.

Ronald built a diverse legal career in Corvallis, taking on roles that combined legal knowledge with public service. He served as Legal Advisor for Students at Oregon State University, accepted trustee appointments through the US Bankruptcy Court, and also maintained responsibilities within private legal practice.

Ronald has remained deeply involved in community activities throughout his career. His service includes leadership roles such as President of the Corvallis Chamber of Commerce and multiple terms as President of the Benton County Historical Society, where he helped support the creation of the Corvallis Museum.

Ronald focuses his legal work on trust and estate planning, along with estate administration and related legal matters. He also assists individuals with medical planning for incapacity and other connected issues, including real estate considerations, helping clients prepare structured plans for future decisions and stability.
