Natalie A. Hedman is the Managing Attorney of Hedman Family Law, LLC, where she represents clients in complex family law matters. Her practice focuses on child custody disputes, divorce, spousal support, child support, and division of business interests, retirement assets, and real property. She also handles third-party custody claims, post-judgment modifications, and cases involving restraining or emergency orders. Through careful legal strategy and clear guidance, she helps clients resolve difficult legal conflicts and move forward with stability during family transitions.

Natalie earned her J.D. in Law from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law (2006–2008). During law school, she worked as a Paid Research Assistant to the Associate Dean of Academic Affairs and Professor Leslie Cooney. She was also active in legal organizations, serving as a member and board member of ATLA in 2007 and participating in the American Bar Association. Earlier, she earned a B.A.Sc. in Sociology & Women Studies from Portland State University (2000–2003), where she volunteered with the Women Resource Center.

Natalie has more than a decade of experience guiding individuals through challenging family law disputes. She has represented clients in divorces involving financial complexity, custody conflicts, and property division. Her work also includes cases involving restraining orders, status quo orders, and immediate danger orders, in which prompt legal action is essential. By carefully analyzing each case and advocating strongly in court, she works to secure fair outcomes while protecting the legal rights and long-term interests of families across Oregon communities.

Natalie A. Hedman has remained dedicated to improving access to family law services and supporting community legal programs throughout her career. She received the Michael E. Haglund Award in 2012 for her commitment to Legal Aid’s Domestic Violence Project and Family Law Pro Se Clinic. Her work with bar associations and professional committees further strengthens the legal community. Through advocacy, volunteer service, and leadership, she continues to help individuals navigate complex legal issues with clarity, fairness, and strong legal representation today.
