About
Robert P. Audette has built a long legal career representing individuals who have been harmed or injured and need strong legal guidance. His work focuses on workers’ compensation claims, personal injury matters, Social Security Disability benefits, and estate planning. For decades, he has helped clients understand complex legal processes while protecting their rights after injuries or illnesses related to work.
Robert earned his B.A. (Cum Laude) with a major in Political Science from Providence College, Providence, Rhode Island. He later continued his legal studies at Boston University School of Law, Boston, Massachusetts, where he received his J.D. This academic background provided the legal foundation that supports his many years of work advocating for injured individuals.
Robert concentrates much of his legal work on workers’ compensation matters under the Rhode Island and Federal Longshore Workers’ Compensation Acts. He also handles claims involving the Federal Defense Base Act and the Federal Non-Funded Instrumentalities Act. His practice also includes representing individuals injured due to another party’s negligence and assisting people seeking Social Security Disability benefits.
Robert has extensive experience assisting individuals facing serious medical conditions connected to workplace injuries. These cases often involve brain injuries, paralysis, chronic regional pain syndrome (CRPS / RSD), lung disease, including asbestosis, and permanent back or neck injuries. Through careful case preparation and litigation work, he helps clients pursue the financial support and benefits they need.
Robert also dedicates time to professional and legal organizations. He serves on the Board of Governors of the Rhode Island Association for Justice and is a member of the American Association of Justice. He is also part of the Rhode Island Bar Association Workers’ Compensation Bench Bar Committee and the Workers’ Injury Law & Advocacy Group.
Robert P. Audette continues to focus much of his legal practice on litigation and advocacy for injured individuals. With many years of courtroom and claims experience, he remains committed to guiding clients through difficult legal challenges and helping them pursue the benefits and compensation they are entitled to receive under the law.
