Robert Musto

Robert Musto brings more than four decades of legal experience serving Woodbridge Township, Middlesex County, and surrounding communities. His career reflects steady courtroom dedication across criminal, municipal, and family matters. Clients rely on his long-standing knowledge of trial and appellate practice built through years of hands-on advocacy across diverse court settings and evolving legal challenges.

Robert earned his undergraduate degree, a BA, from Seton Hall University. He later continued his legal education at Seton Hall University, where he obtained his Juris Doctor. Following service in the United States Marine Corps, his early professional background included work as a Probation officer with the Middlesex County Probation Department.

Robert began his legal career clerking for the Honorable Robert L. Garrenger, Jr., P.J.S.C, gaining courtroom insight at the trial level. He later practiced with a local Woodbridge firm before establishing an independent practice in 1985, concentrating on Family Law, Municipal Court, and Criminal Court matters, serving clients with consistent focus and care.

Robert also served the public as a municipal prosecutor in Woodbridge Township from 1988 until 1992. He is certified in the administration and scoring of Standardized Field Sobriety Testing (SFST), assisted in training other attorneys, and has successfully defended third offense DWI cases involving mandatory incarceration.

Robert Musto continues to guide clients with practical judgment shaped by decades of courtroom exposure. He has also donated time to Project Safe Surrender, acting pro bono for surrendering fugitives. Community involvement includes the Marine Corps League and the American Legion, reflecting continued public service.
