Peter B. Lu

Peter B. Lu, is the Managing Attorney at Styles Law, where he leads the firm’s Family Law and Criminal Law practices. With six years of legal experience, he is known for steady leadership, strong courtroom advocacy, and a client-centered approach rooted in empathy, trust, and clear communication.

Peter earned his Juris Doctor from Columbia Law School in New York, New York. While in law school, he served as a Staff Editor for the Journal of Environmental Law and contributed to the Foundation Moot Court Program. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Bowling Green State University.

His practice focuses primarily on family law and criminal defense. Peter represents clients in contested and uncontested divorces, child custody matters, and a wide range of criminal cases. He approaches each case with careful preparation, strategic thinking, and respect for the serious personal impact legal matters can have.

Peter brings significant litigation experience to his practice. He has prosecuted thousands of misdemeanors and hundreds of felonies, including complex cases involving homicide and sex crimes. His ability to build trust with witnesses and victims has led to favorable outcomes in highly contested, emotionally charged matters.

In addition to family and criminal law, Peter handles infractions and maintains a litigation-focused practice. He is admitted to the Washington State Bar and provides legal services in English.
