Rick Tuha

Rick Tuha is an Idaho attorney who focuses his practice on estate planning, elder law, and business planning. He works with individuals and families to create clear plans that protect assets and provide peace of mind. His practice includes drafting wills and trusts, guiding clients through probate, and handling estate and trust litigation. He also assists clients with Medicaid asset protection planning, helping families prepare for long-term care while preserving what they have built.

Rick earned his J.D. from the J. Reuben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University. He also earned an M.B.A. from the Marriott School of Management at Brigham Young University. He completed his B.A. in Organizational Behavior at Brigham Young University–Hawaii, with minors in Psychology and Communications. His combined legal and business education allows him to approach estate and business matters with both technical skill and practical insight.

In his estate planning practice, Rick helps clients design personalized plans that reflect their goals and values. He prepares revocable and irrevocable trusts, wills, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives. In elder law matters, he provides guidance on Medicaid planning and long-term care strategies. Rick Tuha is an active member of the Taxation, Probate and Trust Section of the Idaho State Bar. He is also a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and the Idaho Trial Lawyers Association.
