Rhett Fraser is a Portland, Oregon attorney, and he focuses exclusively on representing people harmed by the negligence of others. He handles medical malpractice, personal injury law, wrongful death, and appellate matters in state and federal courts at The Fraser Law Firm P.C. He represents injured plaintiffs in claims against hospitals, physicians, nurses, midwives, and other medical professionals. Rhett earned his J.D. from Mercer University Walter F. George School of Law. He began practicing law in 2009 and is licensed in Oregon, Washington, and Idaho. He is also admitted to the US Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and the federal district courts in Oregon, Western Washington, Eastern Washington, and Idaho.

Rhett has tried numerous cases to verdict before judges and juries. He has also argued significant matters before the Oregon Supreme Court and Oregon Court of Appeals. He successfully argued Ransom v. Radiology Specialists of the Northwest before the Oregon Supreme Court and Bates v. Andaluz Waterbirth Center before the Oregon Court of Appeals. He has also written or co-written amicus briefs addressing professional negligence, civil rights, criminal defense, and access to justice.

Rhett serves on the Oregon Trial Lawyers Association Board of Governors and has co-chaired its professional negligence section. He also participates in amicus committees for the Oregon Trial Lawyers Association and Oregon Justice Resource Center. He has presented continuing legal education programs for the Oregon State Bar, Oregon Trial Lawyers Association, and Multnomah County Bar Association. He also mentors law students and new lawyers through the Oregon State Bar.
