Chad M. Nicholson

Chad M. Nicholson is an Idaho litigation lawyer at McConnell Wagner Sykes + Stacey PLLC who represents individuals and businesses in personal injury law, medical malpractice, employment law, and commercial disputes. He also handles matters involving construction, real estate, defective products, vehicle accidents, premises liability, unpaid wages, and business conflicts. He has represented injured clients for more than a decade in claims arising from accidents, medical negligence, and unsafe products. He uses his courtroom experience to prepare cases carefully, assess legal risks, and pursue practical results through negotiation or trial.

Chad earned his B.A. cum laude from Northwest Nazarene University. He received his J.D. cum laude from Gonzaga University School of Law in 2003. He was admitted to the Idaho State Bar in 2006. He is also admitted before Idaho state district courts, the Idaho Court of Appeals, the Idaho Supreme Court, and the US District Court for the District of Idaho. His professional memberships include the Idaho Trial Lawyers Association, American Inns of Court, and the Gonzaga University School of Law Alumni Association.

Chad began his legal career as a deputy prosecuting attorney for Kitsap County, Washington, from 2004 to 2006. He later practiced with Rossman Law Group, PLLC, from 2006 to 2012 and Meuleman Mollerup LLP from 2012 to 2014. His prosecutorial background gave him substantial courtroom experience before he entered his current role as a partner. He now handles cases from preparation through trial and represents clients on either side of civil disputes.

Chad M. Nicholson also advises employers on sexual harassment, discrimination, FMLA, wrongful termination, and workplace agreement matters. He drafts and negotiates employment contracts, employee manuals, noncompetition agreements, and nondisclosure agreements. He has presented seminars on worker classification, hiring and firing, whistleblower claims, discrimination, and employment compliance. His broad litigation and advisory experience helps him explain complicated issues clearly, develop focused strategies, and guide clients through demanding legal matters.
