About

Mark D. Sebastian is an Idaho defense lawyer at Anderson, Julian & Hull, LLP, and he represents clients in insurance, construction, education, employment law, and commercial disputes. He also handles contracts and transactional matters, governmental entity defense, personal injury defense, professional malpractice defense, and workers’ compensation defense. His practice combines litigation experience with practical advice for businesses, public entities, insurers, employers, and other organizations. He evaluates legal and financial risks, develops case strategies, and helps his clients address disputes in state and federal courts.

Mark completed his bachelor’s degree at Boise State University in 1996. He received his J.D. from the University of Idaho College of Law in 1999. While attending law school, he served as a summer law clerk for Chief U.S. Magistrate Judge Mikel H. Williams in the District of Idaho. He also worked as a summer intern for the Idaho Office of the Attorney General’s Natural Resources Division and its Environmental Section. He has been a member of the Idaho State Bar since 1999, and he is admitted before all Idaho state and federal courts.

Mark began his legal career as a law clerk to Judge Roger S. Burdick, who was then a Twin Falls County district judge. He also assisted him in his role as presiding judge for the Snake River Basin Adjudication. He joined the firm as an associate in 2001 and later became a partner. His early judicial and government experience gave him insight into court procedures, public law matters, environmental issues, and complex disputes. He is also an associate member of the Idaho Trial Lawyers Association.

Mark D. Sebastian has more than two decades of legal experience, and he handles matters involving technical facts, public responsibilities, or significant financial exposure. He applies his broad background to both courtroom advocacy and preventive legal guidance. His varied practice helps him understand how litigation, contracts, employment decisions, and regulatory concerns can affect the same client. He approaches each matter with preparation, sound judgment, and attention to the practical goals behind the legal issue.
