Randy Adams

Randy Adams is a partner and litigation attorney representing companies and individuals in complex tort liability matters throughout North Carolina. His practice emphasizes transportation litigation, professional liability, product liability, and insurance defense, with a particular focus on catastrophic injury and wrongful death cases arising from serious accidents.

Randy earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Miami University in 1981. He went on to receive his Juris Doctor from Wayne State University Law School in 1984, establishing a strong academic foundation for a litigation career centered on trial advocacy and complex liability defense.

Randy has tried cases in North Carolina courts since 1990 and has taken matters to jury verdicts in numerous counties, as well as in the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Middle Districts of North Carolina. He regularly represents trucking and transportation companies, working closely with insurers on liability defense and pre-suit accident investigations.

In addition to transportation matters, Randy represents a broad range of professionals, including engineers, surveyors, design professionals, accountants, and attorneys, as well as businesses involved in commercial disputes. He also serves as the firm’s delegate to the USLAW Network’s Transportation Litigation practice group.

Randy Adams is licensed to practice law in North Carolina and Michigan and before the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. He holds an AV® rating from Martindale-Hubbell and has been recognized by The Best Lawyers in America in Insurance Law and Commercial Litigation. His professional memberships include the American Board of Trial Advocates, the North Carolina Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the Defense Research Institute, and the North Carolina Association of Defense Attorneys.
