David Daggett is a managing partner and experienced trial attorney who has focused his legal practice on personal injury, disability, and workers’ compensation matters since 1985. He is widely recognized for guiding clients through complex legal claims involving catastrophic injuries, wrongful death, and insurance disputes across North Carolina courts.
David earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Indiana State University, graduating cum laude. He later obtained his Juris Doctor from Wake Forest University School of Law in 1985, where he developed a strong foundation in litigation, advocacy, and client-focused legal representation.
David’s practice is centered on personal injury law, including motor vehicle accidents, serious bodily injury claims, and wrongful death matters. He also represents individuals in Social Security Disability and workers’ compensation cases, helping clients navigate administrative systems and pursue benefits essential to long-term financial stability.
Throughout his career, David has represented clients facing life-altering injuries and complex insurance disputes. His experience includes handling claims involving bad-faith insurance practices, long-term disability coverage, and high-exposure injury cases that require detailed investigation, negotiation, and trial preparation when necessary.
In addition to his litigation work, David is a founder and long-standing sponsor of the Safe Sober Prom Night program, an initiative promoting public safety and awareness throughout North Carolina. His leadership in this effort has been recognized with multiple public service and professional awards at the state and national levels.
David’s professional achievements include being named a North Carolina Super Lawyer, receiving the AV Preeminent Peer Review Rating from Martindale-Hubbell, and earning honors from organizations such as the American Association for Justice and North Carolina Advocates for Justice for service and excellence in the legal profession.
David Daggett is admitted to practice in North Carolina and before multiple federal courts, including the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals. He remains actively involved in bar leadership and professional organizations while continuing to provide dedicated, results-driven representation to individuals and families across the state.
