George Hamo

George Hamo is a seasoned attorney with over 40 years of experience specializing in personal injury law, wrongful death, automobile and trucking accidents, product liability, legal malpractice, and securities fraud. Since founding the Hamo Law Firm in 1981, he has successfully negotiated and litigated cases, resulting in multi-million-dollar recoveries and significant verdicts for his clients. His work focuses on helping injured clients throughout Michigan, providing strong, aggressive representation during some of the most challenging times in their lives. George is known for sincerely supporting his clients, turning many professional relationships into lasting friendships.

George earned his J.D. from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 1981. Before that, he completed a B.A. at Kalamazoo College in 1976. His education has helped him build a strong understanding of law and advocacy, which he applies effectively for his clients’ benefit.

George has gained admission to practice law in Michigan (1981), Pennsylvania (1993), North Carolina (1994), and in several U.S. Federal Courts throughout his career. He is a respected member of numerous professional associations. They include the American Bar Association, the State Bar of Michigan, the American Association for Justice, the Michigan Association for Justice, and several injury and brain/spinal cord associations.
