Peter Sandberg

Peter Sandberg is an Alaska civil litigation attorney with Sandberg Pace & Glazier LLC and has practiced in Alaska since 2006. His practice focuses entirely on civil litigation and includes personal injury, real estate disputes, product liability, minority shareholder oppression, unfair trade practices, class actions, municipal liability, professional malpractice, construction disputes, civil rights, insurance bad faith, and employment litigation. Peter represents clients in complex disputes that often involve significant financial, business, or personal consequences.

Peter earned a J.D. from the University of Colorado in 2006 and a B.S. in Journalism from the University of Colorado in 2002. His legal and communications training supports a litigation practice that requires careful factual development, written advocacy, and the clear presentation of complicated disputes. He is admitted in Alaska, the US District Court for the District of Alaska, and the US Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.

Peter’s representative results include a $4 million judgment in a commercial guarantee dispute, a $6.2 million arbitration award in a minority shareholder oppression matter, and a settlement of approximately $3 million in an insurance coverage class action. He has also handled product liability cases, corporate dissolution disputes, large class actions, a constitutional challenge involving Alaska education funding, and derivative litigation. He served on a plaintiffs’ steering committee in multidistrict litigation involving hip prostheses.

Peter Sandberg is a Life Member of The Fellows of the American Bar Foundation and was selected by peers for Alaska Business Monthly’s 2023 through 2025 Legal Elite listings for personal injury litigation. His experience spans individual claims and large, complex disputes involving corporations, insurers, public entities, and injured clients.
