Paul began his academic journey at East Tennessee State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Affairs in 2016. He pursued his Juris Doctor at Loyola College of Law, graduating in 2019. During law school, he concentrated on the relationship between race and law. He worked to understand the systemic barriers that marginalized communities face, developing the skills needed to address inequality through the legal system.

Paul started his law career as a public defender in Davidson County, Nashville, Tennessee. In this role, he represented individuals who could not afford legal counsel, gaining vital courtroom experience and insight into the urgent need for reform. His time there deepened his commitment to fighting for fair representation.

Paul now continues to apply his legal skills and values by supporting individuals navigating difficult legal challenges.
