Paul J. McGoldrick

Paul J. McGoldrick co-chairs the litigation practice group at Shorall McGoldrick in Phoenix, Arizona. Paul is a Certified Specialist in Injury and Wrongful Death Litigation and focuses on personal injury cases, complex business disputes, commercial litigation, and professional liability. He has represented plaintiffs and defendants in tort and commercial matters across Arizona. He maintains a substantial mediation and arbitration practice, drawing on extensive trial experience to help parties evaluate and resolve civil disputes.

Paul earned a J.D. from the University of Arizona College of Law and a B.S., cum laude, from Arizona State University. Before entering private practice, he served as a law clerk to the Honorable Frank X. Gordon, then Vice Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Arizona. His education and clerkship provided a strong foundation in legal analysis and appellate procedure before he developed a long career in civil trial work and alternative dispute resolution.

Paul has served as a mediator or arbitrator in more than 4,000 cases and has substantial experience as a trial lawyer. His litigation practice includes personal injury, commercial disputes, and professional liability matters. He has served in leadership positions with the American College of Trial Lawyers and the American Board of Trial Advocates. His work as a neutral is informed by years of representing clients on different sides of complex civil disputes.
