Catherine Bowman

Catherine Bowman serves as Arizona Senior Counsel with Arizona Lemon Law Advocates and represents consumers dealing with defective vehicles and Lemon Law claims. She brings nearly four decades of legal experience to consumer law matters. Her broader background includes trial and appellate work involving constitutional law, contracts, commercial development, employment disputes, malpractice, and personal injury, giving her experience across civil disputes that can involve complex factual and legal questions.

Bowman earned a B.S. in Psychology with a concentration in Public Policy from the University of Arizona and entered the University of Arizona’s law school at age 20. While completing her legal studies, she attended the Tucson Reserve Police Academy and served as a reserve police officer for six years. That combination of academic and public-safety experience contributed to a practice grounded in litigation, government work, and problem solving.

Bowman’s career has included service as a Deputy County Attorney, Deputy City Attorney, and Police Legal Advisor, followed by private practice. She has handled matters in state and federal courts and has experience at both the trial and appellate levels. In 2011, she obtained a $1.8 million jury verdict for the City of Tempe in federal court, a result identified among Arizona’s top ten civil verdicts that year.

Catherine Bowman is admitted in Arizona, New York, and New Jersey, as well as the US District Court for the District of Arizona and the US Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. She is also a certified NFLPA contract advisor. In her consumer practice, she applies a broad litigation background to Lemon Law disputes, helping vehicle owners evaluate defects, warranty issues, documentation, and available remedies.
