Patrick Gunn

Patrick Gunn is a seasoned trial lawyer and partner at Goodwin Procter LLP in San Francisco. His clients include major players in the technology, venture capital, and real estate industries. Patrick earned his B.A. from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 1990 and his J.D. from Boston University School of Law in 1994.

With over 30 years of experience, Patrick has represented sponsors, developers, borrowers, and lenders in disputes involving financing, leasing, receiverships, foreclosures, and property workouts. Notable victories include defeating a $20 million developer claim against NVIDIA, defending Mark Zuckerberg in a real estate lawsuit, and securing an award for Goldman Sachs in an arbitration dispute. Patrick previously served as head of the business litigation group at Cooley LLP, where he led a 250-lawyer team.
