Stacy C. Cordes is a veteran North Carolina attorney with over three decades of experience in bankruptcy and debtor-creditor law. She serves clients across Charlotte and surrounding counties, providing trusted legal counsel in disputes involving personal, corporate, and small business debt. At Cordes Law, she advises individuals and companies on resolving complex financial matters, including workouts, dissolutions, foreclosures, and litigation in both state and federal courts.
Stacy earned her B.A. from Wake Forest University in 1988 and her J.D. from Wake Forest University School of Law in 1991, where she served as President of the Student Bar Association.
Since beginning her practice in Charlotte in 1992, Stacy has represented both debtors and creditors across all chapters of bankruptcy. Her expertise includes lender and SBA workouts, asset protection strategies, and managing small business disputes. She guides clients through formal mediation or negotiated settlements, and when necessary, helps individuals file for Chapter 7 bankruptcy. Stacy C.
