Stacy C. Cordes is a veteran North Carolina attorney with over three decades of experience in bankruptcy and debtor-creditor law. She serves clients across Charlotte and surrounding counties, providing trusted legal counsel in disputes involving personal, corporate, and small business debt. At Cordes Law, she advises individuals and companies on resolving complex financial matters, including workouts, dissolutions, foreclosures, and litigation in both state and federal courts.
Stacy earned her B.A. from Wake Forest University in 1988 and her J.D. from Wake Forest University School of Law in 1991, where she served as President of the Student Bar Association.
Since launching her Charlotte practice in 1992, Stacy has represented both individuals and businesses in every chapter of bankruptcy. She focuses on lender and SBA loan workouts, asset protection planning, and resolving small business disputes. Stacy helps clients navigate mediation and negotiated settlements, and when appropriate, guides individuals through Chapter 7 bankruptcy filings.
