Pamela Maggied

Pamela Maggied is a highly experienced bankruptcy attorney based in Columbus, Ohio. Since 1980, her law practice has focused on helping individuals facing financial hardship. She believes that anyone with serious debt problems should speak with a qualified attorney before making any decisions. Her goal is to guide clients through their options and support them every step of the way.

Pamela Maggied graduated summa cum laude from Ohio University in 1975. She earned her J.D. from The Ohio State University College of Law in 1979. She has been certified in Consumer Bankruptcy Law since 1993 and has been a member of the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys (NACBA) since 1992.

Pamela offers free initial consultations to help people understand their choices. Chapter 7 or Chapter 13 bankruptcy may not be right for everyone, so she listens carefully and offers personalized advice based on each person’s situation.

Throughout her career, Pamela has been active in shaping the legal process for bankruptcy courts in Ohio. She served on the committee that developed rules for electronic case filing in the courts of Columbus, Cincinnati, and Dayton. She has also testified before the Ohio Senate on issues affecting consumers and debt settlement companies.

Pamela is a Columbus Bar Foundation Fellow and a long-time member of the Columbus Bar Association, where she has been active in the Bankruptcy Committee since 1981. She is also a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute (ABI).
