Page Gravely is a partner at Hancock Daniel, where he advises healthcare organizations on risk management, patient safety, crisis response, and workplace violence prevention. He has worked nationally for more than 30 years on patient safety improvement systems, federally certified Patient Safety Organizations, integrated risk structures, and liability management initiatives. His practice also includes medical staff issues, safety and security, behavioral health concerns, labor and employment law matters, and alternative dispute resolution.
Page earned his B.A. in Psychology from the University of Richmond and his J.D. from the University of Richmond School of Law. He is admitted in Colorado, the District of Columbia, Georgia, Idaho, Kentucky, Maine, Mississippi, New Hampshire, New Mexico, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia. He is also admitted before several federal courts, including the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. His professional memberships include the American College of Healthcare Executives, the American Health Law Association, and the American Society for Healthcare Risk Management.
Page helps healthcare clients prepare for and respond to complex events that may involve patients, employees, regulators, law enforcement, litigation, or public attention. He has assisted with developing and certifying national Patient Safety Organizations and designing enterprise-wide workplace violence programs. He has also managed investigations involving hospital shootings, unexplained patient harm, sexual assault allegations, restraint-related deaths, and fatal fires in behavioral health settings. His work includes assessing policies, coordinating responses, managing regulatory concerns, and helping organizations implement practical improvements.
Page Gravely combines broad healthcare risk experience with a practical approach centered on preparation and situational awareness. He has been recognized by Best Lawyers in America for Healthcare Law and named among Virginia Business magazine’s Legal Elite. His study of Hapkido reinforces his belief that realistic preparation supports better decisions during fast-moving situations. He uses that same disciplined mindset to help healthcare leaders reduce risk, strengthen safety programs, and respond to difficult events with greater clarity.
