Allison Anderson is a Boston-based partner who co-chairs a labor and employment practice. She represents companies in union disputes, complex employment litigation, and a wide range of workplace matters. Her counseling covers hiring, layoffs, disciplinary actions, workplace investigations, employment policies, and compliance with labor laws. She serves clients in industries including life sciences, energy, offshore wind, technology, education, cannabis, retail, hospitality, gaming, and financial services.

Allison earned a B.A., magna cum laude, from Macalester College in 2008 and a J.D., magna cum laude, from Boston College Law School in 2013. She is admitted to practice in Massachusetts, the Massachusetts state courts, the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit. This background supports her work in complex employment disputes and labor proceedings.

Allison has litigated unfair labor practice and representation cases before the National Labor Relations Board, handled labor arbitrations, and negotiated collective bargaining, project labor, and labor peace agreements. Her trial experience includes jury and bench trials involving trade secrets, noncompete agreements, wage and hour claims, worker classification, and discrimination. She also advises renewable energy and offshore wind businesses on labor strategy, prevailing wage requirements, apprenticeship rules, and union-related issues.

Allison Anderson was named a Top Woman of Law by Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly in 2023 and a Top Lawyer in labor and employment by Boston Magazine in 2025. She was also recognized by The Best Lawyers in America for Employment Law – Management and Labor Law – Management from 2024 through 2026. Allison serves as program co-chair and Region One co-chair of the ABA Labor and Employment Section’s NLRB Practice and Procedure Committee. She also speaks and writes about developing labor and employment issues.
