About

Nicole Martins focuses her practice on estate planning, probate, asset protection, and civil litigation. She has handled cases in both state and federal courts, from routine matters to highly complex disputes. Her goal is to protect family wealth and ensure clients’ wishes are respected through carefully designed legacy planning.

Nicole first obtained her B.A. in Political Science from Florida International University and later earned her Juris Doctor from Western Michigan University in Ann Arbor. During law school, she served as Associate Editor of the Thomas M. Cooley Law Journal of Practical & Clinical Law, helped establish the Hispanic Latino Law Society as its founding Vice President, and participated in Moot Court.

Nicole’s career began in the aviation sector, where she drafted multi-million-dollar contracts for major clients across North and South America. She later shifted her focus to litigation, contributing to trial teams on wrongful death and personal injury cases that delivered favorable results. In private practice, she has directed all phases of litigation, including discovery, depositions, negotiations, and trial advocacy.

Nicole is licensed to practice in Florida, admitted to the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida, and qualified before the United States Supreme Court. She is also an active member of the Florida Bar, the Dade County Bar Association, and the Florida Association for Women Lawyers. Beyond her legal practice, she has served as a Guardian ad Litem for Miami-Dade County and volunteers with the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

Nicole Martins continues to guide individuals, families, and business owners in protecting their legacies. Through her knowledge and experience, she develops effective strategies to preserve assets, resolve disputes, and provide peace of mind to those she represents.
