Nicholas David

Nicholas David is the managing partner of the David Law Office and focuses his practice on criminal defense. He represents individuals facing serious felony and misdemeanor charges and works to protect clients’ rights throughout every stage of the criminal justice process.

Nicholas earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Kansas School of Law in 2014. He also earned a Bachelor of Science in Communications from Kansas State University in 2010. His legal education prepared him to build a practice focused on criminal defense and courtroom advocacy.

Nicholas represents clients charged with serious criminal offenses, including murder, rape, aggravated robbery, aggravated battery, burglary, criminal possession of firearms, domestic violence, driving under the influence, and drug offenses. His work involves defending clients through investigations, hearings, negotiations, and courtroom proceedings.

Nicholas regularly handles matters throughout the criminal justice process. His experience includes jury trials, plea negotiations, and appellate advocacy before the Kansas Court of Appeals and the Kansas Supreme Court. He prepares legal briefs, develops defense strategies, and works to protect every client’s rights.

Nicholas is admitted to practice law in Kansas and in the United States District Court for the District of Kansas and the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals. His admissions allow him to represent clients in both state and federal courts when criminal matters arise.

Nicholas is an active member of several professional organizations. He is involved with the Third Judicial District Criminal Defense Bar, Douglas County Criminal Defense Bar, Kansas Bar Association, and the American Bar Association, supporting professional collaboration and continuing legal education within the legal community.

Nicholas David also contributes to legal education through professional presentations. He has taught continuing legal education programs on Kansas appellate procedure, self-defense immunity hearings, and time-barred prosecutions and speedy trial defense for the Topeka Criminal Defense Bar.
