Neil C. Gosch

Neil C. Gosch focuses his practice on litigation and construction law, with extensive experience in business and commercial disputes, insurance defense, and municipal law. He represents both plaintiffs and defendants in all stages of litigation, from negotiations and mediation to trial and appeal. Neil also advises contractors, owners, and design professionals on construction agreements, project financing, surety and bond issues, and risk analysis, providing clients with practical, informed guidance to manage complex construction projects.

Neil earned his B.S. from Kansas State University in 2001, where he was a member of the Kansas State football team, before completing a Master of Public Administration in 2003. He later obtained his J.D. from the University of Missouri–Kansas City School of Law in 2009. During law school, Neil was active in UMKC Law Review, Urban Lawyer, Moot Court, and Trial Advocacy. His academic achievements and early public sector work with the City of Kansas City, Missouri, provided him with valuable insights into capital construction projects and municipal operations.

Since the start of his career, Neil has represented clients in diverse industries, successfully resolving construction disputes, contract litigation, mechanic’s lien claims, underground utility damage cases, oil and gas litigation, and insurance defense matters. He is licensed to practice in Kansas and Missouri, as well as in the U.S. District Court for the District of Kansas, the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Missouri, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit. Combining strong courtroom advocacy with sophisticated contract analysis, Neil offers clients a strategic, results-focused approach to complex disputes and proactive risk management.

Neil C. Gosch’s professional recognition includes being named a Rising Star by Missouri-Kansas Super Lawyers in construction litigation. He has served as vice-chairman of the KCMBA Construction Law Committee and is active in the Wichita, Kansas, and Missouri Bar Associations. His community involvement includes the Knights of Columbus, Young Professionals of Wichita, and supporting youth sports, reflecting his commitment to both his profession and his community.
