Neil C. Gosch

Neil C. Gosch focuses his practice on litigation and construction law, with extensive experience in business and commercial disputes, insurance defense, and municipal law. He represents both plaintiffs and defendants in all stages of litigation, from negotiations and mediation to trial and appeal. Neil also advises contractors, owners, and design professionals on construction agreements, project financing, surety and bond issues, and risk analysis, providing clients with practical, informed guidance to manage complex construction projects.

Neil earned his B.S. from Kansas State University in 2001, where he was a member of the Kansas State football team, before completing a Master of Public Administration in 2003. He later obtained his J.D. from the University of Missouri–Kansas City School of Law in 2009. During law school, Neil was active in UMKC Law Review, Urban Lawyer, Moot Court, and Trial Advocacy. His academic achievements and early public sector work with the City of Kansas City, Missouri, provided him with valuable insights into capital construction projects and municipal operations.

Since beginning his career, Neil has represented clients across a wide range of industries, successfully handling construction disputes, contract litigation, mechanic’s liens, underground utility damage cases, oil and gas litigation, and insurance defense. He is admitted to practice in Kansas, Missouri, the U.S. District Courts for Kansas and the Western District of Missouri, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit. His skills in both advocacy and contract analysis make him a versatile resource for clients facing high-stakes disputes or needing proactive legal strategies.

Neil C. Gosch’s professional recognition includes being named a Rising Star by Missouri-Kansas Super Lawyers in construction litigation. He has served as vice-chairman of the KCMBA Construction Law Committee and is active in the Wichita, Kansas, and Missouri Bar Associations.
