Brittany S. Pierce is an experienced appellate attorney at Lively Law Firm. She focuses her legal practice on immigration appeals and federal litigation, handling complex cases before the Board of Immigration Appeals, Federal Circuit Courts, and U.S. District Courts. Her approach to law is strategic and detail-oriented, aiming to build persuasive legal arguments that stand up under appellate scrutiny.
Brittany earned her J.D. with honors from Emory University School of Law in 2018. She also holds a B.A. in Philosophy, summa cum laude, from Georgia State University.
Before joining private practice, Brittany Pierce served as a Staff Attorney at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. During her time there, she received hands-on experience in how federal appellate judges review legal arguments and was trained by some of the nation’s most skilled appellate attorneys.
Brittany is also a nationally recognized legal writer. Her legal writing has earned her several publications in respected law journals such as the Cardozo Journal of Equal Rights and Social Justice, the Law Journal for Social Justice at Arizona State University, and the Asia Pacific Journal of Health Law & Ethics. She also won the 2017 national “Access to Justice” Writing Competition.
Brittany Pierce’s honors include the Pro Bono Publico Medal from Emory and national recognition for her writing and advocacy. She brings both intellectual rigor and a deep passion for justice to every case she takes on.
