Michael Zoldan has built a strong reputation in Arizona as a dedicated employment lawyer advocating for individuals and small businesses. Michael earned his B.A. in Finance from The Ohio State University, Fisher College of Business, in 2007. He then pursued his J.D. at Arizona State University, Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law, graduating in 2010. This educational path combined a strong foundation in business with a focused legal education, giving him insight into both the financial and legal aspects of employment law.

Michael began developing courtroom experience early through internships with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission’s Trial Attorney Department and a Maricopa County State Court Judge. These opportunities gave him exposure to both federal and state-level employment litigation. Before entering private practice, he strengthened his litigation skills by working on numerous cases alongside some of Arizona’s most respected attorneys.

Michael’s practice areas cover a wide range of employment law matters. He represents clients in Title VII and state law discrimination litigation, wage and overtime disputes under the FLSA and Arizona statutes, and retaliation claims. He also guides clients through the EEOC charge process, including mediations, and advises on restrictive covenants such as non-compete and trade secret agreements. His work further includes representing professionals before licensing boards and helping small businesses with risk management, employment contracts, and workplace policies.

Michael has been named among Arizona’s Rising Stars for ten consecutive years, from 2015 through 2024, a distinction awarded to a limited percentage of attorneys in the state. This recognition underscores his commitment to client advocacy and consistent excellence in practice.
