Heather L. Thuet

Heather L. Thuet is the founder and CEO of Key Legal Group, LLC, where she focuses on litigation, business, and real estate matters. As an accomplished trial attorney, she has represented clients in complex disputes involving contracts, property, insurance, and construction. Her ability to design effective strategies has earned her recognition as a trusted advocate in state and federal courts.

Heather earned a B.S. in Business from the University of Utah, graduating cum laude. She went on to receive her J.D. from the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law, finishing in the top 5% of her class and earning Order of the Coif honors. While in law school, she contributed to Law Review and gained valuable experience through clerkships and academic excellence.

Heather’s career includes leadership as President of the Utah State Bar from 2020 to 2022 and prior service as Bar Commissioner. She has chaired the Utah Bar’s Litigation Section and helped create professional programs, including the Annual Judicial Excellence Awards. She also serves as an adjunct professor of law, teaching contract drafting, and as a small claims judge, ensuring fair outcomes across a wide range of cases.
