Michael T. Howard

Michael T. Howard is a highly accomplished trial attorney who represents both plaintiffs and defendants in complex civil litigation across Washington, Idaho, and Montana. His core practice areas include personal injury, medical malpractice, product liability, insurance coverage disputes, and construction defects. He appears regularly in both state and federal courts.

Michael began his education at the University of Idaho, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology with a minor in Chemistry in 1991. He went on to receive his Juris Doctor from the University of Idaho College of Law in 1999. After completing law school, he served as a judicial law clerk for Idaho Supreme Court Justice Cathy Silak from 1999 to 2000.

Michael is admitted to practice in all state courts of Washington, Idaho, and Montana. He is also admitted to the U.S. District Court for the District of Idaho, the Eastern District of Washington, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. His litigation work spans a wide range of high-stakes legal issues in multiple jurisdictions.

Michael has served the legal community through several leadership roles. He was President of the Idaho State Bar and the First District Bar Association. He served as a regional director for the Idaho Trial Lawyers Association and currently sits on the board of the John P. Gray American Inn of Court.
