Michael J. Greenberg

Michael J. Greenberg is a trusted attorney who focuses his practice on estate planning and elder law. Known for his thoughtful and respectful approach, Mr. Greenberg works closely with clients to help them protect their assets, plan for the future, and navigate complex legal matters. He deeply understands the challenges families face, and he guides them with clarity and care through the estate planning process. Before founding his own firm, he spent nearly a decade working with several top law firms, gaining valuable experience in both traditional and advanced estate planning.

Mr. Greenberg earned his J.D. from Emory University School of Law and holds a Bachelor’s degree from Williams College. His legal practice covers various services, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and health care directives. He also handles complex planning needs such as business succession, generation-skipping transfer tax strategies, and fiduciary services. His experience helps clients plan for long-term care, minimize tax exposure, and preserve their legacies for future generations.

Mr. Greenberg is admitted to practice law in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Florida. He has been named a Rising Star in Estate Planning and Probate in the New York Metro Super Lawyers edition every year since 2017. His firm is also certified by New York State to offer Continuing Education to licensed social workers.

Beyond his legal work, Michael J. Greenberg plays an active role in the professional community. He serves as Chair of the Legal Committee for the NYC Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association and is a member of the Professional Advisory Council of Calvary Hospital. He is on the Executive Committee of the New York State Bar Association’s Trusts & Estates Law Section and Elder Law and Special Needs Section. He is also a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA).
