Joshua D. Taylor

Joshua D. Taylor is a Partner at Keystone Law Group, P.C., where he focuses his practice on probate, trust, and estate litigation. With over 20 years of legal experience, he has built a strong reputation for handling complex and high-value cases. He regularly represents trustees, executors, beneficiaries, conservators, heirs, and administrators in matters involving estates worth over $50 million.

Mr. Taylor holds a B.A. in English from the University of California at Berkeley. He earned his J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law, where he served on Law Review.

Mr. Taylor began his career at Heller Ehrman LLP, a top-ranked international law firm. He also held senior litigation roles at several leading nonprofit organizations in Los Angeles. These positions allowed him to fight for the rights of underserved populations across California.

Since joining Keystone, Mr. Taylor has focused only on probate, trust, and estate litigation. He has served as lead trial attorney in multiple complex cases. In one case, he helped his client win a judgment that invalidated a trust due to the decedent’s lack of mental capacity. He has also recovered large sums for trust beneficiaries, even in cases where others denied the trust existed.

Mr. Taylor is a Certified Specialist in Estate Planning, Trust, & Probate Law, a recognition awarded by the State Bar of California. Mr. Taylor has been named “The Best Lawyers in America” and recognized as a “Super Lawyer” from 2020 to 2024.
