Michael D. Betrus focuses his legal practice on civil litigation, state and federal employment law, and business disputes. Michael earned his B.A. in Economics from the University of Oklahoma in 2021 with a 4.0 GPA, and he also completed a Minor in Classical Culture. He later earned his J.D. from Texas A&M School of Law in 2024. While in law school, he clerked for more than a year, gaining practical experience in employment and business law.

Michael also interned with First Liberty Institute, where he contributed to appellate cases, including work related to the Supreme Court of the United States. He served as President of the Christian Legal Society and was Senior Articles Editor for the Texas A&M Journal of Property Law.

Michael combines deep litigation experience with a strong command of policy to deliver strategic, results-focused representation. His leadership and editorial roles in law school sharpened his ability to analyze complex legal issues and advocate effectively in and out of the courtroom. Today, he provides thoughtful, client-centered counsel to individuals and businesses navigating disputes, helping them protect their interests and achieve practical, long-term solutions.

Michael D. Betrus was licensed to practice law in Texas in 2024. He is a member of the Tarrant County Bar Association and the Federalist Society.
