Michael A. DeMayo is the CEO and managing partner of one of the nation’s most successful personal injury and mass tort law practices. For more than three decades, he has championed the rights of clients harmed by catastrophic injuries, medical negligence, and corporate misconduct. Michael earned his undergraduate degree cum laude from Wake Forest University and his Juris Doctor from the University of North Carolina School of Law. He is admitted to practice in all federal districts of North Carolina and the U.S. Supreme Court. His academic involvement includes leadership roles on law school boards and university councils.

As one of North Carolina’s youngest attorneys to achieve a million-dollar verdict early in his career, Michael has led his team to recover over $1 billion for more than 132,000 clients. His practice spans auto accidents, wrongful death, workers’ compensation, and national mass torts involving toxic exposure, dangerous drugs, and defective products.
