Meredith L. Thielbahr

Meredith L. Thielbahr is a partner at Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani and serves as Office Managing Partner for the firm’s Inland Northwest region. Her practice focuses on construction litigation, government contracts, and complex commercial disputes. She represents contractors, suppliers, and corporate clients across industries including construction, real estate, manufacturing, energy, defense, transportation, hospitality, and healthcare in matters involving disputes, compliance, investigations, and public contracting.

Meredith earned a J.D., cum laude, from Seattle University School of Law, where she served as Lead Articles Editor and Associate Editor of the Seattle University Law Review, participated on the Moot Court Board, and worked as a bankruptcy research assistant. She earned a B.B.A., cum laude, from Washington State University and graduated from its Honors College, building a strong academic foundation for complex commercial and regulatory work.

Thielbahr represents contractors in bid protests before the U.S. Court of Federal Claims, the Government Accountability Office, the Small Business Administration, and state and local agencies. Her experience includes internal compliance investigations, qui tam and government lawsuits, delay and termination claims, construction defects, project accidents, and environmental remediation contracts. She handles cases in state and federal courts and resolves matters through motion practice, arbitration, negotiated resolutions, and trial.

Meredith L. Thielbahr is licensed in Washington, Idaho, Oregon, Alaska, and the District of Columbia. She has received recognition in construction and government contracts and regularly writes and speaks on legal issues affecting contractors. Her work combines litigation strategy with contract and regulatory knowledge, helping clients identify risk, preserve claims and defenses, respond to investigations, and navigate disputes involving public and private projects.
