About

Alexandra Grande is a partner at Holland & Hart in Boise, Idaho, who provides counsel on complex employment and commercial disputes. Her employment practice includes discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful discharge, wage and hour issues, disabilities and leaves, trade secrets, non-competes, and related litigation. She also handles business disputes and advises companies on employment issues connected to acquisitions and layoffs, helping clients consider both legal exposure and operational impact.

Grande earned a J.D. from the University of Idaho College of Law in 2014, cum laude, where she served as Chief Symposium Editor of the Idaho Law Review and participated on the D. Craig Lewis Trial Team. She received a B.A. from the College of Idaho in 2011, magna cum laude. Her academic background supports a practice centered on legal writing, litigation strategy, evidence, regulatory requirements, and the management of complex workplace and commercial issues.

Grande represents clients in state and federal court and also uses alternative dispute resolution when appropriate. Her experience includes defending discrimination, retaliation, and wrongful discharge claims, handling administrative proceedings before agencies such as the EEOC and Idaho Human Rights Commission, and advising on contractual and business disputes. She has also supported in-house counsel through a secondment with St. Luke’s Health System, gaining direct exposure to transactional, compliance, and operational decision-making within a large health care organization.

Alexandra Grande has been recognized in Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch and among Mountain States Super Lawyers Rising Stars. Her practice combines employment counseling, litigation, appeals, and broader business dispute experience. She helps employers and other clients evaluate claims, respond to administrative proceedings, manage sensitive workplace issues, and prepare for litigation when disputes cannot be resolved through negotiation or other alternatives, with advice shaped by both legal and business considerations.
