Megan earned her Juris Doctor from Widener University School of Law in 2002. Before law school, Megan completed a Paralegal Studies program at Villanova University in 1996 and earned her Bachelor of Arts from LaSalle University in 1993. Her comprehensive legal education supports her nuanced understanding of both litigation and corporate legal frameworks.
Megan is licensed in Pennsylvania and admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the U.S. Third Circuit Court of Appeals. She routinely handles complex civil litigation, including shareholder disputes, insurance bad faith claims, and contract conflicts, across state and federal courts.
In addition to her litigation work, Megan is a passionate advocate for children and families navigating educational systems. She advises on student rights, special education planning, and disciplinary procedures, especially supporting those impacted by autism spectrum disorders. She also advocates during the IEP process and participates in legislative efforts for education reform.
Beyond her legal practice, Megan volunteers with the Support Center for Child Advocates in Philadelphia and serves as a court-appointed special advocate (CASA) in Maryland. Through her pro bono efforts, she supports children with special needs, especially those in foster care, reflecting her commitment to justice and accessibility for all.
