Matthew J. Kinnier is an intellectual property lawyer and member at Hoffman Warnick, LLC whose practice focuses on patent portfolio management, patent prosecution, trademark matters, licensing, enforcement, and intellectual property strategy. His trademark work includes managing portfolios for businesses of different sizes and protecting product brands marketed domestically and internationally. He also drafts intellectual property agreements, including nondisclosure agreements, licenses, and settlement agreements. His practice further includes assisting startups and small businesses with intellectual property planning, as well as representing businesses in trademark disputes before the USPTO.

Matthew J. Kinnier has spoken on intellectual property issues through programs including the Albany Chamber of Commerce Entrepreneur Boot Camp and a New York Intellectual Property Law Association presentation on changes in patent law. His published work has addressed startup grant submissions, government-funded technology transfer, and patent legislation.
