David E. Rogers

David E. Rogers is the managing partner of Foulston Siefkin LLP in Wichita, Kansas, and maintains an active litigation practice. His work includes employment and labor disputes, product liability, insurance coverage, professional malpractice, construction, and commercial litigation. Rogers represents clients in jury trials, arbitrations, mediations, and appeals in state and federal courts. He also counsels faith-based organizations and serves as outside general counsel to a local university.

Rogers earned his J.D. from the University of Kansas in 1987 and his B.S. from the University of Kansas in 1984. He was admitted to practice in Kansas in 1987 and is also admitted before the U.S. District Court for the District of Kansas and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit. His education and decades of litigation experience support his work on complex employment and business disputes.

Rogers has obtained summary judgment in employment cases involving race, national origin, FMLA, and pregnancy discrimination issues. He also tried and won a company-versus-union arbitration concerning whether outsourcing certain jobs violated a collective bargaining agreement. His broader experience includes catastrophic product liability cases, multimillion-dollar insurance coverage disputes, construction matters, and medical negligence defense. He also serves as an arbitrator on the American Arbitration Association’s employment and commercial dispute panels.

Best Lawyers has listed him for more than 20 years and named him Wichita Lawyer of the Year for Product Liability Litigation – Defendants in 2026 and Arbitration in 2025.
