Matt McCabe is a partner based in Dallas who concentrates on tax-exempt and taxable financings for 501(c)(3) health care entities and governmental health care organizations. Matt earned a BA in Kinesiology with a Sports Management concentration from Rice University in 2008. He then earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Pennsylvania in 2015, where he graduated Order of the Coif and summa cum laude. During law school, he was the Recipient of the Oscar Bregman Prize for excellence in the field of business law and served as Executive Editor: Journal of Business Law. He also obtained a Certificate in Management from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, 2in 015.
Matt regularly serves as bond counsel, borrower’s counsel, and underwriters’ counsel in financing matters involving health care systems, academic medical centers, nursing facilities, and senior living communities. His work also includes advising on the financial aspects of mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures. He helps clients understand how structural changes can affect existing and future financing arrangements.
