Martin Haxel

Martin Haxel is a seasoned Illinois attorney with more than three decades of experience advocating for injured individuals in personal injury and workers’ compensation cases. Martin earned his J.D. from Saint Louis University School of Law and his B.S. in Economics from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville. He began his legal career with the Illinois Attorney General’s Office in Springfield, where he gained valuable experience in litigation and trial work. He is admitted to practice in Illinois and Missouri and is an active member of the Illinois State Bar Association, the Missouri Bar, the Sangamon County Bar Association, and the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association.

Throughout his career, Martin has handled over 100 trials and appeals, representing clients in complex injury and workplace accident cases. His notable results include a $1.3 million policy-limit settlement for a severely injured motorcyclist and a landmark workers’ compensation ruling for firefighters suffering from hearing loss.
