About
Marshall Lewis Cohen is a founding partner of Antonini & Cohen Immigration Law Group and has practiced immigration law exclusively for more than 30 years. Admitted to the Georgia Bar in 1989, he represents clients in family and employment immigration, temporary and permanent visas, naturalization, deportation defense, and federal appellate litigation.
Marshall earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Florida in 1983 and his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Georgia School of Law in 1989. Marshall has also taught immigration law as an adjunct professor at Georgia State University College of Law, sharing his expertise with the next generation of attorneys.
Marshall is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and the Georgia Bar Association. He has served in numerous AILA leadership roles, including National Liaison to the Executive Office for Immigration Review, Chapter Chair of the Georgia–Alabama Chapter, and various vice-chair and committee chair positions for liaison with the Atlanta Immigration Court and USCIS.
Recognized for his excellence, Marshall has received the Martindale-Hubbell AV Preeminent rating and has been named a Georgia Super Lawyer from 2020 to 2023. He has also served on the Board of Directors for the Friends of the Israel Defense Forces, Southeast Region.
A frequent speaker, Marshall Lewis Cohen has presented on immigration law at AILA National Conferences, the State Bar of Georgia, the American Law Institute–American Bar Association, and local judicial and legal education programs. His decades of experience, leadership in professional organizations, and dedication to client success have established him as a trusted advocate in complex immigration matters.
