About
Kathleen Hoyos is a partner at Antonini & Cohen Immigration Law Group, where her journey began over a decade ago as a receptionist. In 2021, she became the youngest partner in the firm’s history, just five years after earning her J.D. from Georgia State University College of Law. She represents clients in a full range of immigration matters and is fluent in English, Spanish, French, and Italian.
Kathleen graduated from New York University in 2010 as a Higher Education Opportunities Program Scholar, earning a dual degree in Romance Languages and a minor in Economics. While at NYU, Kathleen volunteered as a translator and interpreter at the United Nations during the Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues. At Georgia State, she served as Secretary of the Latinx and Caribbean Law Student Association.
Kathleen is committed to advancing civil and human rights, with a focus on the Hispanic community in Georgia. She has served as Secretary of the state’s only League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC) Council, mentored students through the Latin American Association’s Latino Youth Leadership Conference and the Gwinnett Hispanic Mentoring Program, and supported undocumented youth as a volunteer faculty member at Freedom University.
Kathleen’s community engagement includes membership in The Love Project 404, where she helps organize aid for underserved communities through scholarships, family sponsorships, and relief programs. She regularly speaks at schools and community events to inspire and guide young people pursuing higher education and professional careers.
Through her legal skill, multilingual abilities, and dedication to advocacy, Kathleen Hoyos provides effective, compassionate representation while working to expand opportunities and resources for immigrant communities across Georgia.
