Mark W. Dobbins brings over four decades of dedicated legal experience to Tilford Dobbins & Schmidt PLLC, where he serves as a partner and member. His extensive practice includes family law, municipal law, civil litigation, and estate planning. Mark earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Louisville School of Law, where he served as an editor of the Law Review. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Emory University. Since his admission to the Kentucky Bar in 1978, he has also been admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court and U.S. District Court.

Mark is widely respected for his effective advocacy in divorce and custody matters, as well as his skilled handling of estate and probate concerns. In municipal law and civil litigation, he has helped clients—from individuals to government entities—navigate challenging legal terrain with confidence and clarity.

Mark’s excellence has earned numerous accolades, including the Louisville Bar Association’s Richard A. Revell Family Lawyer of the Year and repeated “Super Lawyer” recognitions.
