Mark S. Toronjo is a seasoned Texas attorney with a broad legal background that spans bankruptcy, civil litigation, personal injury, estate planning, and business law. Mark earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Texas A&M University. He later completed his legal education with a Juris Doctor from the University of Richmond School of Law. His academic journey laid the foundation for a well-rounded legal career focused on helping everyday people through their most difficult times.
Mark began his career as an attorney with the U.S. Small Business Administration in Dallas. He assisted individuals and businesses affected by disasters, gaining valuable experience in contracts and FEMA loans. Later, he practiced in Huntsville, Texas, where he worked in civil litigation, criminal defense, and business planning.
Returning to Dallas, Mark joined a bankruptcy firm where he developed deep expertise in consumer bankruptcy law. Over five years, he filed more than 2,000 bankruptcy cases. His work helped many Texans regain control of their financial lives and secure a fresh start.
Mark realized that many clients needed legal guidance beyond bankruptcy. His versatile background allowed him to assist with a wide range of legal concerns, from personal injury to business disputes. He believes in tailoring legal services to meet each client’s unique needs rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach.
Mark S. Toronjo holds memberships with the Dallas Bar Association, North Dallas Bar Association, Tarrant County Bar Association, NACBA, and the Dallas Debtor’s Bar Association, where he served as President in 2013. He is admitted to practice in multiple courts, including the Texas Eastern and Northern Districts and Bankruptcy Courts.
