About

Mark J. Curley has built a strong legal career focused entirely on immigration law. Since 1999, he has handled complex immigration issues, including family-based petitions, permanent visas, consular processing, and unlawful presence waivers. His practice spans a wide range of humanitarian and employment-based immigration matters, serving clients with compassion and clarity.

Mark earned his B.A. from Creighton University in 1990 and went on to complete his J.D. at Creighton University School of Law in 1993. He was admitted to the Nebraska Bar in 1993 and the South Dakota Bar in 1994. These credentials laid the foundation for his decades-long commitment to helping individuals navigate the U.S. immigration system.

Mark began his legal journey at Brown & Brown, P.C. in Omaha, where he worked across various legal areas, including litigation, tax, real estate, and immigration. In 1999, he decided to concentrate solely on immigration law, recognizing the deep impact legal status has on individuals and families. Since then, he has assisted clients in areas such as DACA, VAWA, U Visas, SIJS, and naturalization.

Mark is a longstanding member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and has served in leadership roles, including Chapter Chair of the Iowa/Nebraska Chapter and liaison to both the National Benefits Center and the Omaha USCIS Office. He is also a member of the Nebraska State Bar Association and the State Bar of South Dakota.

Mark J. Curley has earned high professional recognition, including AV Preeminent ratings and near-perfect peer review scores from Martindale-Hubbell across several years. His experience, leadership, and dedication have made a significant difference in the lives of those seeking lawful presence and stability in the United States.
