Ronald (Ron) C. Sykstus

Ronald (Ron) C. Sykstus is the managing partner at Bond, Botes, Sykstus & Tanner, P.C., with offices located in Huntsville, Decatur, and Cullman, Alabama. Ron holds a B.A. in Psychology and Political Science from the University of Arizona. While in college, he received a full academic U.S. Army ROTC scholarship and was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant. He is a Sigma Chi Fraternity member and Order of Omega recipient. He earned his J.D. from Northern Illinois University College of Law. During law school, he served as president of the Moot Court Competition Board and was chosen as commencement speaker.

Ron entered active duty with the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General’s Corps after graduating, where he served as a prosecutor and later as Senior Defense Counsel. He handled courts-martial, administrative proceedings, and national security cases. He was awarded two Meritorious Service Medals during his military service. Following his honorable discharge, he joined the Bond & Botes law firm, where he continues to help individuals and families through complex legal matters.
