Marie A. Mattox is an accomplished attorney with more than two decades of experience in employment law and civil rights. She has successfully represented clients in state, federal, and appellate courts throughout Florida. Marie began her academic journey at Florida State University, earning a B.S. in Criminology in 1979, followed by a Master of Science in Criminology in 1982. She continued at Florida State University College of Law, where she graduated with honors. She was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1988 and is licensed to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Middle and Northern Districts of Florida, as well as the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.

Marie has practiced law in Northern Florida since 1987 and founded her own firm in 1995. Over the years, she has gained a reputation for her passionate defense of constitutional rights. Her work has extended beyond individual representation, contributing to systemic changes in employment discrimination and protections against retaliation. She also has attorneys licensed in Georgia to further support clients’ needs.
