Marc C. Thompson

Marc C. Thompson is an experienced Wyoming attorney with nearly three decades of legal practice in family law, real estate, civil litigation, and criminal defense. Based in Cody, he has been a member of the Wyoming State Bar since 1994 and has practiced law actively since 1995. As the founder of Thompson Law LLC, he provides trusted legal counsel to individuals, families, and businesses across the Big Horn Basin, combining practical insight with strong advocacy.

Thompson earned his J.D. from the University of Wyoming College of Law after completing his B.S. in Business Administration from the University of San Diego. His background in both law and business enables him to handle a broad range of matters, from property transactions and real estate disputes to complex family and criminal cases. His comprehensive approach ensures that clients receive well-rounded, strategic solutions tailored to their needs.

In addition to his private practice, Thompson serves as a Guardian ad Litem, representing and protecting abused children in court proceedings. He also serves as a part-time judge in Park County, holding positions as Circuit Court Magistrate and District Court Commissioner.
