M. Taylor Darden is a founding member of the firm with a distinguished legal career centered on oil and gas law, complex litigation, and mineral law. Taylor Darden earned both his Bachelor of Arts in 1974 and Juris Doctor in 1977 from Louisiana State University. His academic foundation led to significant contributions to legal scholarship, including leadership roles with the Louisiana Mineral Law Institute and the Louisiana Law Institute, where he helped reform vital oil and gas statutes.

Taylor’s litigation practice includes expropriation disputes, royalty claims, indemnity and insurance coverage issues, and general commercial litigation.
